Made in Hoi An

Catalogue photos show what a style could be. This page shows what was actually made: garments cut to measure for guests of Bao An Tailor, photographed in the shop with their permission, with the fabric and the real number of days from measuring to collection.

WHAT WILL BE HERE

The first month is being photographed

Each month will show six to twelve garments made for guests who agreed to have them shown. Until the first set is ready, here is what each entry will carry.

  • 01

The piece on the person who ordered it

Photographed in the shop, with the guest's written permission, first name and country only where they asked for it.

  • 02

    The fabric, named

The cloth it was cut from, linked to its entry in the fabric library so you can see what it is like to wear.

  • 03

    The days it really took

From measuring to collection, and how many fittings, so you can check it against the fitting planner before you travel.

Until then, the styles on this site show what each piece starts from, and guest reviews on Tripadvisor describe what came of them.

Have something made

Every garment here started as a style on this site or a photo the guest brought. Check your dates, then message the shop.
